The controlling stakes of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE in e-commerce companies are largely overseen and posted in an internal shared service centre. Previously, the subsidiary companies or shareholdings, which are essentially oriented towards the consumer business (B2B), organized the credit- and receivables management themselves.

The aim of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE is to operate the payment processing, credit- and receivables management for all B2C transactions according to central guidelines and uniform processes. As part of this, for all major subsidiaries or shareholdings, the sub-ledger is to be kept through a central partner in BPO. nexnet has taken over the payment clearing in a full BPO operation for the following subsidiaries or shareholdings.

In credit management the SAP FI-CA standard solution provides a stable system-platform that is designed for high-volume processes. As the same time, SAP enables certifiable accounting.


The central architectural approach covers the scope of functions desired by ProSiebenSat.1. The credit management and the upstream interface management as the fulcrum for the data exchange play a central role. This yields uniform interfaces and data end points for all partners and platforms. Clear responsibilities lead to unnecessary communication paths being avoided. In the context of quality assurance, all processes, products and applications relevant to the provision of the service are planned and implemented in such a way that they meet the requirements of the customers, the statutory provisions as well as internal and external quality standards. Controls take place in the context of an internal control system (ICS) that complies with the auditing standards PS 951 and PS 331 and thus additionally guarantees SOX conformity. The general audits on the effectiveness of the internal controlling system are carried out by an independent auditing institute.
