In a few days, the time has come: from November 27, 2020, public clients will only accept electronic invoices in the XML format "X-Rechnung". For the time being, this applies to invoice amounts over 1,000 euros. However, it is to be expected that in the future, invoices under 1,000 euros will also only be accepted in the X-invoice format. The advantages are obvious, as the electronic processing of invoice data is fast and error-free. Over the past few months, nexnet's developers have implemented the new format in the systems and tested it extensively.
