The core competencies of net group investments include the provision of Internet, telephone and TV products as well as a wide range of value-added services. In addition, the group offers specialized solutions in the areas of subscription management, billing, CRM, billing and accounts receivable management. At our location in the heart of Berlin, right next to Anhalter Bahnhof, we develop customized solutions in the areas of software development, accounts receivable management, SaaS, BPO and individual software manufacturing. Our partner nexvysion develops innovative SAP and BRIM solutions for automated financial processes. The company focuses on creative thinking, agile working and technical excellence in order to create customized solutions with clear added value.

vysion consulting

Our partner vysion consulting is an internationally active, owner-managed consulting company that has been supporting companies in their digital transformation since 2018 - in particular as a specialist for SAP BRIM® (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and SAP FI-CA ®. The team combines many years of SAP expertise with a strong partner network and attaches great importance to sustainable, efficient and future-oriented solutions.

Company foundation

Dr. Rainer Caspar founded nexnet on 26.01.2000. What began as a modest clearing house quickly developed into a successful company with a promising business model. From small beginnings came great things.

Rating & Billing structure

We began with billing for call-by-call providers and gradually built up a solid customer base. Thanks to our experience and innovative ideas, we have maintained our leading position in the field of subscription billing to this day.

Change of management

After the death of founder Dr. Rainer Caspar in May 2003, Gerhard Wacker took over the management of the company. Under his leadership, nexnet continued its success and overcame the difficult times.

One of 80 million

The year was characterized by major developments. The number of accounts and master data grew considerably, so that we were able to look back on 80 million master data.

SOX compliance

With the introduction of the SOX law, which prescribes stricter accounting and auditing rules, we set up our own audit team. Despite initial challenges, we are now real experts in this area.

MR.NET acquires nexnet

Through the merger with MR.NET, nexnet expanded its business area to include the internet and media market, creating a unique company in Germany. Growth continued with larger teams and an open corporate culture in which it became normal for the management to be on first-name terms.

Move to the city center

On April 29, we moved into our new office in the city center with a view of Potsdamer Platz. While celebrating the move, we realized that our office is located on the former German-German border. At nexnet, however, we live diversity instead of borders.

Lars Heucke becomes Managing Director of nexnet:

Lars Heucke, who had already been with nexnet for 10 years, took over as Managing Director in June 2012. He had previously proven his skills as Head of IT/Development and, from 2009, as Site Manager. He still manages the company together with Dirk Moysich.

Starting signal for payment clearing

In 2014, nexnet developed payment clearing for the growing e-commerce sector. This involves reconciling all money movements at individual transaction level with the sales data, resulting in a certifiable monthly statement.

Evolution of the company logo

Our logo was given a new design in 2019. Although we work with numbers and processes on a daily basis, we attach great importance to design and aesthetics in our corporate identity.

Subscription Billing Cloud

With 25 years of experience in business process outsourcing, nexnet developed the Subscription Billing Cloud, an innovative product that enables easy entry into the subscription economy to benefit from this growing industry.

Moving to grasblau

In summer 2023, we moved into our new office in the sustainable grasblau building complex near Potsdamer Platz. The modern office offers us flexible workspaces, more room for meetings and creative teamwork.

Company anniversary - 25 years of nexnet

In 25 years, we have experienced ups and downs, from which we have always emerged stronger. Starting out in the telecommunications industry, we are now also active in e-commerce, accounts receivable management and subscription billing. Alongside our business, our team has also grown, and together we have overcome challenges and celebrated successes. We would like to continue this with you in the future.
